Vida Water installs and services plumbed-in water coolers, boiling taps, hot water boilers and drinking fountains for Coventry businesses, from manufacturing sites on the city's edge to offices around the station and university buildings. We are based in Lichfield, under an hour away by motorway.
From Lichfield, we take the A38 and A446 to the M6 at Coleshill, then follow the M6 east into Coventry. It is roughly 30 miles, usually 40 to 50 minutes depending on the M6. Sites on the eastern side of the city, such as Binley and Ansty Park, are reached directly from the motorway junctions without crossing the centre.
Nuneaton and Bedworth sit just north of Coventry, so they are covered on the same journey.
Every system we fit is mains-fed: no bottle deliveries to schedule and no storage to find. We also service and sanitise equipment that other suppliers installed, so everything can sit on one agreement. Most Coventry enquiries start with a free site survey, where we check your water supply, space and headcount and recommend the right equipment.
Coventry's water comes from Severn Trent, whose head office is in the city. Severn Trent describes most of its supply as soft to moderately hard. Hardness still varies by district, so we check your postcode at the survey and do not quote one number for the whole city.
On an industrial site, the bigger factor is usually how the hot water is used, not the hardness figure. Welfare areas on a shift pattern draw a lot of boiling water in short bursts, and a boiler that runs hard all day builds scale faster than an office tap. One of the manufacturers we install, AA First, puts it plainly: Regular carbon block filters, used for cold water machines, will not prevent the buildup of scale in your hot water machine.
So on Coventry factory sites, we size the boiler to the shift change, not the headcount average. Where the water and the duty cycle call for it, we fit a scale-reduction filter on hot units and a separate carbon filter on cold ones. Descaling and filter changes are part of planned servicing, so they are not left to whoever remembers.
We work across the city and its business and industrial parks, including:
Yes. Plumbed-in fountains run from the mains, so there are no bottles to store or carry around the site. We look at where your teams actually stop for water and position them there.
Usually, yes. That is a capacity problem, not a fault. We measure the demand at the free site survey and recommend a boiler sized for the peak, not the daily average.
Yes. They sit just north of Coventry and are on the same route.
Yes. We service and sanitise water coolers, taps and boilers we did not fit, so you can move existing equipment onto one maintenance agreement. Tell us what you have and we will start with a survey of what is already installed.
